Pentecost Sunday, May 14th & 15th, 2016
Next to the great event of the Sacred Triduum (Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter), Pentecost is the most important day of the liturgical year. Pentecost is marked by the color Green since it reminds us of the Holy Spirit who filled the hearts of the disciples on the first Pentecost recorded in the Acts of the Apostles.
We invite and encourage everyone to wear a Green outfit of some sort to Liturgy on Pentecost Sunday, so that we can fill the church with a Sea of GREEN!
